In winter you can reach the ski slopes of Veysonnaz-Printze by taking the Hérémence Télésiège just 300 metres from the restaurant. Beyond Veysonnaz, you are then within easy reach of the other resorts which make up the Four Valleys; Verbier, La Tzoumaz and Nendaz. Find out more.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
For avid cross country skiers, there are 4 circuits in the Thyon area designed specifically for the classic style. A total of 6km and 100m of altitude variation await you! FREERIDE
The Four Valleys has an amazing off-piste offering, attracting hundreds of freeride enthusiasts each year. The nearby Greppon Blanc to Prapero is a popular off-piste marked route. Hiring a qualified guide and using proper avalanche equipment is highly recommended for your safety. Find out more.
SNOWSHOE TRAILS
The 85km of signposted and secured snowshoe trails allow you to explore the snow-blanketed valley in a spectacular and magical setting. There is a 3.5km route from Les Masses to Ferme Pédagogique, approx. 60m in altitude variation which takes about an hour round trip. Find out more.
ICE SKATING
Take your first steps onto the ice, practice your pirouettes or have a game of ice hockey. There are two ice skating rinks nearby at Les Collons 1800 and in Hérémence. You’ll find the possibility to have a drink, rent ice skates, have fun and listen to music! Find out more.
SLEDGING
There are various sledge runs in the Four Valleys area. The closest run is from Restaurant Pinocchio, Thyon 2000 to Restaurant La Cambuse in Les Collons 1850. There is also a new snow tubing run near the Snow Bar Le Tipi in Thyon, where you can fly down the mountain on a circular rubber ring! Find out more.
DOG SLEDGING
Enjoy this far north activity. Ride on a sledge and be pulled through the snow by a pack of beautiful Siberian huskies. Booking is required at the tourist office the day before you wish to take part. Find out more.
PARAGLIDING
Paragliding or ‘paraponting’ is very popular in the Valais and is a magnificent way to see the scenery of the region of Thyon and the Val d’Hérens.
